Day 6 – Buttermere

Posted on September 13, 2019September 13, 2019

Having viewed Buttermere from the Rannerdale  Knotts, we were eager to return for a walk around one of our favourite lakes. Wanting an easier day, we strolled around the lake and took time for Dave to take some long exposure photos. Our waterproof shoes were truly tested during the walk to and from the lake due to a diversion through what can only be described as a stream. We happily splashed our way through!

After a lunch stop at Croft House Farm Cafe, we headed over to Grasmere with the sole purpose of picking up some of their famous gingerbread.
